My name is Danielle and I am a 23 year old Chinese/Australian female artist . I was born in Sydney, Australia but spent the days of my early childhood living in Singapore. Growing up, I always had a passion for art and being creative. After moving back to Australia in the 6th grade, I got caught up amongst many different hobbies such as sport, music and art, but it wasn't until my HSC major work in 2019/2020 when I found my passion for ceramics. The tranquility of throwing and the growth for experimentation sets my imagination running wild and gives me a sense of comfort in developing as an artist. Each piece I make is a development of my own practice and unique from the last. Through the exploration of this medium, I'm finding myself opening up to new challenges and experiences, growing as an artist and person.
